Medicare Update

Big news for families! More children and young people can now access the speech pathology support they need, with expanded Medicare coverage making it more affordable and easier to get help. This is such a wonderful step forward.

Eligibility criteria:

• Aged 25 years and under
• Have a valid referral from a GP, consultant physician or specialist
• Suspected of, or diagnosed with an eligible condition under the M10 list

Eligibility services:

• Up to 8 assessment sessions
• Up to 20 treatment session

This is the total number of services that can be claimed before the person turns 25.
