Preschool to Adolescents
Taylor is a speech pathologist who has over seven years of experience supporting children and young people with communication difficulties. She has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Gestalt Language Processing and Speech Sound Disorders.
Taylor has experience working in both educational and private practice settings with autistic children, speech sound disorders, language difficulties/disorders, literacy difficulties and children who present as non-speaking. She also provides supervision and mentoring to other speech pathologists.
Taylor values building strong connections with clients to ensure they feel safe, heard and comfortable. She also strives to creating a therapeutic environment that is fun and child-lead.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys baking, gardening, travelling, spending time with friends and family, and spending time with her dog.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours)
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
- NLA Trained Clinical for completion of the Meaningful Speech course on Gestalt Language Processing, Echolalia and Natural Language Acquisition (NLA)
